Electronics Engineer / Embedded Systems Engineer (m/w/d) 60 - 100%

 

Your challenge

• Coordination with external development partners 
• Review of embedded hardware and firmware as well as maintenance of electronic production documents
• Development and maintenance of test infrastructures, hardware testing, quality assurance
• Creating functional specifications for hardware/firmware and carrying out comprehensive hardware tests
• Error analysis and troubleshooting in cooperation with the development team
• Maintenance of component parts lists, production data in the ERP system and support with component discontinuations
• Testing and checking the implementation of requirements for embedded systems and power users in simatec's digital solution landscape

 

Your profile

• Completed training as an electronics technician EFZ or equivalent qualification
• Experience and knowledge of schematic design with a focus on weak point analysis
• Experience and knowledge of embedded hardware and firmware, ideally in the IoT environment
• Technical expertise with good communication skills
• Analytical skills and precise way of working, goal-orientation, planning skills
• Independence and a high level of personal responsibility
• Written and spoken German, knowledge of English required
